Delta Center for Independent Living
Who can ride? Individuals with disabilities at least 18 years old. Riders must be able to direct their care. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Service Area: St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties with limited travel to St. Louis County.

Transportation options to for Disabled American Veterans for VA Appointments
There currently are two options for transportation to VA appointments (If there is no appointment, then transportation is not available).
1) Disabled American Veterans Association buys vans and leases them to VA. They are driven by volunteers to appointments.
- In LINCOLN County, residents with appointments at Jefferson Barracks, John Cochran or St Charles Community Based Outpatient Clinic call in advance at 636-528-7551. He arranges for driver (and is in process of recruiting additional volunteers)
- There are no volunteer drivers in WARREN County
- In ST CHARLES County (except Wentzville), transportation is provided for appointments before 12 noon as follows:
- Jefferson Barracks on Monday
- John Cochran on Tuesday
- St Charles clinic on Wed

Eligibility depends on whether:
- they have a disability which is 30% or more service-connected
- income
- For service-connected appointments, an individual with 0 dependents must earn less than $11,830/year OR is charged a fee-for-service of $6 per trip or $18 per month max.
- For non-service connected appointments or those less than 30% service connected, there is also a fee-for-service
2) Individuals with appointments may be reimbursed $.42/mile for transporting themselves.
- Individuals who want to be reimbursed for mileage should call the “Travel Number” at Jefferson Barracks at 314-289-6415.
- Once approved for reimbursement, the necessary forms are available from staff at their VA medical appointment
City of St. Charles - St. Charles Area Transit (SCAT Bus)
Who can ride? Anyone, you do NOT need to be a resident of St. Charles City
Service area: Fixed route inside City of St. Charles plus transportation to North Hanley MetroLink Station

- Monday-Friday
- Local schedule runs 9:00am - 4:00 pm
- I-70 route runs 5am - 7pm

Additional Information
- Curb-to-Curb service provided for all riders.
- All buses are wheelchair-lift equipped.
- Anyone wishing to be picked up or dropped off of a fixed/deviation route must notify the City 24 hours in advance at (636) 949-3364.
City of St. Peters Transportation Program
St. Peters transportation is funded by City of St. Peters Community. City of St. Peters contracts with OATS.
St. Peters transportation will now be given six (6) 1-way rides or three (3) round trips. Once these rides have been used, the new rider simply calls to request an additional allocation of rides. Those previously enrolled into the program have been give their ride allocation based upon previous usage. Those going to dialysis have been allocated more rides than those who use the program 1 time per week.
To qualify, consumer must:
(1) Live in the Corporate City Limits of St. Peters; and
(2) Be either 62 years of age or older OR have a disability verified by a letter from a physician OR meet low-income standards.

Senior Transportation & Rides (STAR)
STAR is for routine medical transportation and includes Dr. Appointments, Dental, and Medical testing. STAR is open to any St. Charles County resident 62 years of age or older, who lives independently in a house or apartment, and cannot drive. STAR is funded in part by NECAC and the City of O’Fallon. Consumers get up to 3 rides per month. Call Sarah McDonald at 636 978 3306 for intake information.
St. Joseph Health Center
Who can ride: Any individual, who needs to go to St. Joseph Health Center (NOT Medical Park or Medical Building) for any kind of test, procedure, surgery, etc.
Service Area: St. Charles County. Transportation is to this facility only.
